Psychedelic Integration Specialist — (NYC/Brooklyn)

About Us:

We are an established, medically supervised ketamine treatment center with psychiatric oversight, expanding our supervised at-home treatment program to NYC and Brooklyn. Our program brings the healing experience directly to patients' homes, combining the comfort of a familiar environment with professional integration support and remote medical supervision. Our integration methodology has been developed over the course of 10,000 sessions.

Position Summary:

The At-Home Integration Specialist is a critical role in our at-home ketamine program. You will travel to patients' homes in the NYC and Brooklyn area to provide safety monitoring, emotional support, and psychedelic integration guidance before, during, and after ketamine treatment sessions. You are not administering medication — patients self-administer under the direction of a remote prescriber with psychiatric oversight — but you are the in-person presence ensuring a safe, supported, and meaningful experience as well as helping people make meaning of their journey and extract life changing insight.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about psychedelic-assisted healing who thrives in independent, patient-facing work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to patient homes within the NYC/Brooklyn service area for scheduled treatment sessions.
  • Conduct pre-session phone safety screenings to assess the home environment (pets, household members, access, hazards).
  • Prepare the treatment space for a safe, calming experience — lighting, comfort items, music, and minimizing distractions.
  • Guide patients through pre-session intention-setting, meditation, breathwork, and calming routines.
  • Remain physically present with the patient throughout the entire treatment session (typically 2 hours including observation and integration).
  • Monitor patients for physical safety, emotional distress, and any signs of adverse reaction.
  • Serve as a grounding, nonjudgmental presence — providing reassurance without directing the experience.
  • Assist patients post-treatment in reflecting on and processing their experience through supportive integration conversation.
  • Follow emergency response protocols if needed, including contacting 911 and the remote prescriber.
  • Remain with the patient for at least 45 minutes post-treatment until they are alert, oriented, and stable.
  • Document session notes, observations, vitals, and patient feedback in EHR for clinical review.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team and remote prescriber to ensure seamless, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, grounding presence.
  • Ability to remain present, hold space, and be nonjudgmental during transformative emotional experiences.
  • Comfortable working independently in patients' homes with remote clinical support.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the NYC/Brooklyn service area.
  • Basic understanding of trauma-informed care, psychedelic integration, and emotional processing techniques.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
  • Comfortable using EHR systems and tablets for session documentation.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Training or experience in meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, or somatic therapies.
  • Experience with altered states of consciousness
  • Familiarity with ketamine-assisted therapy or other psychedelic-assisted treatments.
  • Experience working in clinical mental health, home health, or community-based care settings.
  • Ability to assess and adapt to varied home environments and patient needs.

What Makes This Role Different:

This is not a desk job. You are going into people's homes, creating sacred space, and holding it. You need to read a room — literally — and make someone feel safe enough to let go. The right person for this role has a rare combination of clinical awareness, emotional intelligence, and practical calm under pressure.

This role does not require clinical licensure but does require the right temperament and training. We provide comprehensive onboarding in our protocols, emergency response procedures, and integration methodology.

Please provide a cover letter or message about why you feel you would be good for this role and what makes you passionate about this role.
