Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled & experienced Clinical Research Coordinator for psychiatric and psychedelic studies at our clinical research site in Orem, Utah. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. This position involves overseeing patient monitoring, data collection, and documentation review to support the successful execution of clinical research projects.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate clinical trial activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Manage all aspects of clinical trials, including patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment.
- Monitor patient progress throughout the study, documenting vital signs and other relevant health information.
- Review and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and CDISC standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate data management and analysis.
- Utilize statistical software for data analysis and interpretation of research findings.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on clinical trial protocols and compliance management.
- Ensure proper handling of biological samples, including phlebotomy and blood sampling procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, clinical development processes, and emerging trends in clinical research.
Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in clinical research with experience in supervising teams within a clinical trials environment. Familiarity with EMR systems is preferred, alongside hands-on experience in a clinical laboratory setting. The following skills are essential for success in this role:
