Psychiatric Clinical Research Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Research Assistant to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional mental health services to our community. With new innovative clinical trials offering novel treatments, whether oral treatments, or procedures, or injections, we are excited to offer these treatments that may be too expensive, or not accessible to many of our patients.
Work Setting: In-Person
Location: Expected to have reliable transportation to Clinical Trials Sites (Day to Day office location is San Juan Capistrano) Back-up coverage for Clinical Trial Site at Chino, CA and Redlands, CA
The Role
IPMG Inc. is looking for a Research Assistant that can drive to mainly SJC where Psychiatric Clinical Trials will be conducted at to support the various activities associated with day-to-day operations of the clinical research department.
**Responsibilities:**
- Support clinical research activities including checking in a patient, patient monitoring, taking vitals, scheduling, and communication with those participating in clinical trials.
- Prep source charts, ensuring the most recent version of the source is always utilized
- Collect, record vital signs, including supine, standing, abdominal circumference and more
- Perform procedures that are trained on-site by the clinical trials sponsors
- Perform lab draws (including processing and shipping) as applicable if you have a phlebotomy license
- Assist with scheduling vendor-related meetings or sponsor related meetings that include staying organized and aware of the investigators schedule, other research employee's schedules, and communicating with the team when scheduling meetings.
- Clean, stock, maintain department supplies and equipment in accordance to the policy and duties as assigned. Maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist with EDC entry related to source documentation as requested; this does not include query resolution, which can be done by the Clinical Research Coordinator
- Support with patient recruitment, internal referrals from the 40+ offices with clinicians assistants, clinicians themselves, and the managers at those office locations. These locations do not have clinical research, but are part of the larger company.
- Other on the job training as required
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- GCP can be done on site, or previously done in the last 1 year is acceptable
- Human Clinical Trials standardized certificates preferred or can be done on-site
- Phlebotomy license highly recommended
- Prior clinic research in Psychiatry preferred
- Minimum two year experience as a medical assistant, research assistant or similar position preferred in the Psychiatric field

- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
- Trustworthy, reliable; attentive to details
- Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
