Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Clinical Support Specialist (Mental Health Technician) to support patient care and clinic operations within a growing outpatient psychiatric practice. This role works closely with providers and leadership to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care, with a focus on advanced treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Spravato (Esketamine).
Duties
- Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their treatment experience
- Assist in monitoring and administering TMS & Spravato treatments under professional supervision
- Observe and report patient status, symptoms, and changes to providers and leadership
- Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and in a timely manner
- Support daily clinical operations, including rooming patients and flow management
- Answer and route patient calls, messages and inquiries
- Assist with appointment scheduling and follow up coordination
- Ensure provider readiness and efficient transitions between patients
- Address patient questions in a professional and supportive manner
- Assist with completion and tracking of patient forms, including FMLA and disability paperwork
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required
- Adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare policies
Experience
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare or clinical setting required
- Experience working directly with patients
- Strong communication, professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced role
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of clinical workflows
- Strong computer skills including data entry, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and Microsoft applications
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
