Part Time

EMDR Therapist

Brooklyn, New York, USA
Medical & Clinical

Third Nature Therapy is dedicated to guiding individuals on a transformative journey toward healing by integrating mind, body, and spirit. Through trauma-informed care, somatic practices, and nervous system regulation, we create a compassionate space where clients can reconnect with their authentic selves, fostering resilience, connection, and lasting well-being.

We’re currently seeking a warm and relational EMDR therapist to join our team. This is a fee-for-service, part-time W-2 position (starting with ~5-10 client sessions/week), with the opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload (20+ sessions/week) over time. You’ll receive full practice support, including referrals, billing, and access to a beautiful, furnished private office space.

Core Values

Holistic – We believe in addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—by combining traditional therapeutic modalities with innovative approaches like EMDR, somatic therapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

Trauma-Informed – Recognizing the pervasive impact of trauma, we prioritize creating a safe, empathetic environment. Our trauma-informed approach ensures that every client's unique experiences are honored, promoting trust and deep healing.

Authentic Connection – We value genuine, collaborative relationships between therapist and client. Through authentic connection, we foster vulnerability, growth, and meaningful change.

Empowerment – We are committed to educating and empowering clients—and our community—through psychoeducation, workshops, and integrative tools for healing inside and outside the therapy room.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Full New York State licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCAT, or PsyD (preferred)
  • Completion of a 50-hour EMDR training program — or strong interest in being trained
  • Experience working with trauma, anxiety, and/or psychedelics
  • Interest in integrative and body-based approaches to healing
  • At least one evening and/or weekend availability
  • A clear understanding of their clinical worth and a desire to focus on providing excellent care—without the pressure of running a business or managing a private practice
  • A strong sense of job autonomy and ability to thrive with a high level of independence

Note: We’re open to MHCs working toward licensure if it’s a strong clinical fit. Supervision and onboarding support will be provided.

What We Provide:

  • Competitive per-session compensation from a $220–$300 full-fee model
