At Edelica Health and Sana Medical Clinic we bring exciting, innovative treatments to people suffering from depression, PTSD, and chronic pain. Our treatments change lives daily. We're building our "A-team" and seek a top-tier medical professional with expert IV skills and outstanding interpersonal abilities.
This is a part-time position in our private clinic, not an ED. However, your skills with IV placement, monitoring, and assisting in procedures are important to us. You'll provide compassionate care, ensuring patients feel safe and supported during treatments. Ideal candidates are reliable, self-motivated, and have their own health insurance — health benefits not provided.
Requirements
- Associate's degree (Required)
- 3+ years of hands-on IV placement experience in a clinical setting, with a proven track record of successful insertions (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport, offer empathetic support, and maintain a warm, professional presence for anxious patients
- Collaborative mindset for working with MDs, NPs, and admin staff
- Comfort with occasional clerical tasks like phone triage and CRM updates
- Availability for day shifts (Required); no overnights, no weekends
Duties
- Greet patients, take vitals (e.g., weight), and escort to rooms
- Consistently start IV's
- Confirm medications and update our EMR
- Monitor vital signs and alert providers to anomalies
- Set up sterile trays and assist with ultrasound-guided nerve blocks
- Provide comforting, caring presence to our patients
- Turn over rooms, maintain cleanliness, and order supplies
- Assist with front desk overflow- i.e. phone calls and scheduling
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
