Mabel is a Dutch startup at the intersection of psychedelics and women's mental health. We create structured microdosing programs and science-backed education. We've raised €600K in pre-seed funding and are preparing for our next stage of growth and fundraising.
The Role
We're looking for a fractional Head of Finance who can operate at both strategic and operational levels. You'll own everything financial, from building the models that guide our decisions to making sure the plumbing works. This is a role for someone who has been inside early-stage DTC businesses and is ready to be 100% "hands-on".
You'll work directly alongside the CEO (Pernille) as part of a small, fast-moving team. Equity possible for the right fit. Starting immediately.
What You'll Own
Strategy & Fundraising
Financial forecasts, budgets, and cash-flow planning
Data room preparation and maintenance for upcoming raise
Support on fundraising deck, scenarios, and business plan
Pricing strategy including margins, royalties, and contribution profit
Contract review and commercial optimization
Operations & Execution
KPI tracking across revenue funnels, translating data into decisions
Coordination with growth team on Meta ad spend and unit economics
Accountant liaison: invoices, expenses, reporting, VAT
Supplier payments and follow-ups
Evaluation and implementation of subscription and payment systems
You
Senior finance experience in startups or scaling companies
Strong DTC / e-commerce and subscription background
Fluent in ad budgets, unit economics, and growth metrics
Autonomous executor, not just advisor
Fluent in English
Based in Europe; Lisbon a plus
Nice to Have
Experience in health, wellness, femtech, or regulated industries
Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, subscription platforms
