Pink Elephant exists to build the companies that will steer the revolution in mental health. Global mental health is an urgent, under-addressed crisis: 1 in 8 people (≈970M) live with a mental disorder, and depression and anxiety alone cost ~$1T in lost productivity each year. Progressive therapies have been shown to be up to 10 times more effective than conventional treatments, yet only 5% of people can access them. We’re here to change that by staking capital on verifiable breakthroughs and assembling founders, clinicians, and operators to turn today’s uncommon sessions into tomorrow’s standard of care.
The Role
The role’s mission is to build the largest and most trusted verified practitioner marketplace for frontier mental health (psychedelic therapy providers, integration therapists, specialized psychotherapists), starting in Europe. In our business model, the marketplace will be aligned with owned media (statesofmind.com) and edtech (a JV with an existing psychedelic education player and a production house for public psychedelic experts).
This is not a traditional partnerships or sales role. The core mission is to build institutional trust and verification standards in parallel with quick-win relationships that position the platform as trusted infrastructure for the industry.
Responsibilities: What You Will Drive
Build the verified practitioner network as a separate business unit - aligned with media and edtech products:
- Develop a marketplace of high-quality frontier mental health practitioners as a standalone business unit with its own P&L: therapists, psychiatrists, sitters, retreat guides.
- Onboard respected, high-credibility practitioners as anchor profiles on the platform.
- Grow the network through relationship-driven strategy - not mass outreach or manual sourcing.
- Align with the media and edtech products: all three need to develop synchronically and bring synergy to each other.
Develop practitioner verification framework:
- Design and implement verification protocol and quality standards for practitioners - codesigning and/or approving it with a leading European industry association/foundation.
- Adapt best practices from regulated and semi-regulated markets (e.g., Canada, Australia, Oregon, Colorado).
- Ensure the platform becomes a trusted verification layer, not just a directory.
Establish institutional partnerships:
- Partner with training programs, certification bodies, and educational institutions (e.g. ADEPT, MIND Foundation, Vital etc.).
- Collaborate with professional associations, research groups, and practitioner communities.
- Create scalable onboarding channels through institutional partnerships.
Build ecosystem trust and presence:
- Represent the platform within practitioner and professional communities.
- Build long-term relationships with key opinion leaders and ecosystem
- stakeholders.
- Position the marketplace as neutral, trusted infrastructure for the field.
Experience: What You Bring
- 5-7 years in partnerships, ecosystem building, or marketplace development.
- Strong familiarity with the psychedelic ecosystem in EU/UK - mental health/general healthtech expertise related to partnerships development would be a plus.
- Existing relationships within practitioner communities is a major advantage.
- Entrepreneurial, CRM/data-driven, and execution-oriented.
