Position Overview:
The Lead Admissions and Sales Director will play a key role in driving the growth of Within Center by leading all aspects of sales, admissions, and referral management. This position is ideal for a highly motivated and compassionate individual with a proven track record in sales and admissions within the treatment, medical, or wellness fields. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with prospective clients, fielding inquiries, generating referrals, and overseeing the entire admissions process. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited about our mission to redefine mental health care through psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales & Admissions: Oversee and manage all aspects of the admissions process, from initial inquiries to intake. Actively field incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries, providing timely responses and guiding prospects through the decision-making process.
- Referral Development & Relationship Building: Build strong, trusting relationships with external partners, treatment centers, and healthcare providers. Regularly visit referring organizations, centers, and key stakeholders to create and maintain a robust referral network.
- Lead & Train Team: Manage and mentor the admissions team, ensuring that all staff members are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to meet targets and uphold our standards of care and customer service.
- Outreach & Community Engagement: Represent Within Center at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build the brand and create awareness of our services. Collaborate with marketing to ensure seamless lead generation strategies.
- Client Consultation & Conversion: Engage with prospective clients directly, providing information on our cutting-edge therapeutic offerings, including psychedelic-assisted therapy, and answering any questions about our approach, treatment programs, and the holistic care we offer.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth coordination between the admissions department and clinical teams to ensure a seamless intake process, from initial inquiry to treatment. Manage all paperwork, documentation, and client files in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Data Tracking & Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, including conversion rates, referral sources, and admissions pipeline, to ensure continuous growth and success of the program.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in admissions, sales, or business development in a medical, wellness, or treatment center environment. Experience in the mental health or psychedelic therapy field is strongly preferred.
- Sales & Admissions Expertise: Strong background in leading sales initiatives, closing deals, managing high-stakes conversations, and building referral networks in a compassionate and ethical manner.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and managing a team, mentoring staff, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Understanding of Psychedelic Therapy: Familiarity with psychedelic therapy modalities, plant medicine, or alternative healing approaches is a significant plus. Knowledge of Indigenous practices and mental health treatment is ideal.
- Relationship-Driven: Ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and ensure deadlines are met with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex treatment options and benefits clearly and effectively to prospective clients and partners.
- Cultural Competency: Open-minded, with an appreciation for diverse perspectives and a commitment to serving individuals from all backgrounds with care and respect.
