Position Overview:
Anywhere Clinic is looking for a committed NV Social Worker Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring social workers to gain hands-on experience in a virtual counseling setting, collaborating with licensed professionals and diverse clients. As an intern, you will apply your social work skills, receive mentorship, and contribute to our mission of enhancing mental health care accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients dealing with various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their needs, establish treatment goals, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other necessary documentation, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Actively participate in supervision sessions with licensed clinicians to enhance your clinical skills and receive constructive feedback.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of social work, therapeutic techniques, and telehealth best practices.
- Foster a supportive and empathetic therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting their mental well-being and self-awareness.
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to the practice of social work and client confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a master's or doctoral program in social work or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to client care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, confidential space for virtual sessions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced telehealth environment.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $30-35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Potential for increased compensation based on performance and experience.
- Opportunity to earn $60 per hour or more once licensed.
