Marpa Minds is a modern, design-forward outpatient mental health clinic specializing in Spravato® (esketamine) treatment for individuals with treatment-resistant depression.
We provide a premium, warm, spa-like environment where clients feel safe, grounded, and supported through their healing journey.
This role is per diem, stepping in when our medical assistant is unavailable.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Assistant (MA) supports the provider and clinical team by ensuring patients feel cared for, maintaining an organized environment, assisting with Spravato treatment sessions, and completing light clinical and administrative tasks.
This is a calm, high-quality patient care environment with a strong emphasis on compassion, organization, and presence.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (Grouped & High-Level)1. Patient Care & Experience
- Welcome clients and help them feel calm, comfortable, and supported
- Escort patients to treatment rooms and prepare the space
- Take & document vitals (BP, pulse, temp, O2, height/weight)
- Provide amenities (eye masks, drinks, blankets, headphones, etc.)
- Explain the treatment flow for first-time clients
- Confirm safe transportation/pickup plans
- Support patients during Spravato sessions with compassion and attentiveness
- Prepare notes for provider review
- Assist patients with forms/consents when needed
2. Spravato® Treatment Support (We train you)
- Add new clients to the Spravato log
- Pull medications for the day and label appropriately
- Track and manage Buy & Bill inventory
- Update medication sheets, daily usage, and inventory counts
- Manage deliveries and maintain medication storage
- Handle unused medication disposal and maintain logs
- Complete REMS requirements:
- Submit enrollment
- Confirm activation
- Update monitoring forms
- Assist with deactivation/facility transfers as needed
3. Clinical Flow & Environment
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, stocked, and calming
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Coordinate with the clinical team on daily schedules
- Maintain whiteboard and treatment flow
- Communicate with front desk and back-end admin as needed
4. Administrative & EHR Support
- Prepare charts for provider visits
- Update medication list and allergies in the EHR
- Enter orders and schedule appointments in the EHR when needed
- Ensure encounter documentation is complete
- Create charge slips after sessions and ensure provider notes are signed
- Review portal messages and ADMD messages (within scope)
- Add or update chart information after evaluations
- Assist with referrals or consult orders if needed
5. Operational & Support Duties
- Maintain supplies and support ordering
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting
- Support transition of care when necessary
- Recognize tasks that need attention and assist without being asked
- Provide occasional scribing support
- Stay flexible with workflow changes
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completed Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy program
- 0–1 year of experience required; 2–4 years preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 30 days)
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Organized, dependable, calm under pressure
- Basic computer and EHR proficiency
SCHEDULE
Per Diem / As Needed
Primarily weekdays; occasional weekend flexibility preferred.

$23 – $26 per hour
