The Position (Job):

  • We’re looking for an International Medical Graduate (IMG) to take on a Medical Assistant (MA) or Medical Technician (MT) position.

The Pay (variable)
:

  • The pay rate is negotiable and based on past experience, adaptability, motivation, work ethnics, loyalty to company mission, and official certification(s).


Requirements:

  • Completion of medical degree (MD) (foreign or domestic) preferred.
  • Available to commit to at least 1 year.
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy and IV access preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (with an emphasis on mental health) or in the process of completing a college program preferred.
  • Past experience working with mental/behavioral health patients in the area of psychiatry, neurology, or addiction medicine preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a medical office, clinic, or facility required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management software required.
  • Proficient in psychiatric conditions and symptoms, mental health verbiage, suicide/crisis situations, and psychiatric medications required.
  • Experience with medication pre-authorization and pharmacy refill process required.
  • Working knowledge in using Athenahealth EHR preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand TMS, Ketamine, Psychedelic, and Spravato program.
  • Participate in potential research study design.
  • Monitor a patient for medical symptoms.
  • Provide medical intervention and respond effectively in an emergency situation.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Explain administrative procedures to patients.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Be courteous and tactful with patients, visitors, and the public.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Follow established treatment and office procedures.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details.
  • Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend.
  • Visual and auditory dexterity.
  • Establish a rapport with insurance companies (pre-authorization and follow-up).
  • Front office check-in/check out as needed.
  • Administrative support as needed.
  • Medication verification.
  • Pharmacy verification.
  • Medication injection.
  • Insurance verification.
  • Support clinicians and patient needs.
  • TMS treatment.
  • Spravato/ketamine treatment.
  • Special projects related to core responsibilities.


The Location:

  • Interview will take place at our Gilbert, AZ office.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel to other office locations.
