Sacred Plant Retreat Facilitator
Role Overview
Sacred Plant Retreat Facilitators support and guide participants through sacred plant retreat experiences rooted in safety, ethics, trauma awareness, and queer-affirming care. Facilitators collaborate closely with Qasa leadership and facilitation teams to uphold program integrity, participant wellbeing, and ceremonial standards. This role may include leading or co-facilitating group sessions, supporting preparation and integration, and holding space during sacred plant ceremonies and group sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate or co-facilitate retreat programming including sacred plant ceremonies in alignment with Qasa facilitation approach
Lead or support virtual participant preparation and integration sessions before and after retreats
Collaborate effectively with other facilitation team members on safety, care, and group dynamics
Uphold Qasa’s ethics, consent culture, and harm reduction protocols
Communicate participant or safety concerns promptly for resolution
Participate in retreat planning meetings and team debriefs
Qualifications & Experience
Experience facilitating sacred plant ceremonies and/or integration spaces, with explicit authorization from recognized lineage holders and/or reputable certification-granting organizations
Trauma-informed and queer-affirming orientation
Relevant training in sacred plant/psychedelic facilitation, integration, and/or harm reduction
Experience and training in holding group process and comfort in working collaboratively in facilitation teams
Alignment with Qasa’s values, safety standards, and facilitation approach
Embodied Pleasure Retreat Facilitator
Role Overview
Embodied Pleasure Retreat Facilitators guide participants through somatic, sensual, body-based, tantric, and/or pleasure-informed experiences grounded in consent, trauma awareness, and queer-affirming practice. Facilitators help create spaces of safety, curiosity, and empowerment while honoring boundaries and participant autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate embodied, somatic, or pleasure-based practices aligned with retreat programming
Uphold explicit consent culture and trauma-informed safety practices
Support group cohesion, emotional regulation, and participant care
Collaborate with other facilitation team members to adapt programming to group needs
Participate in cohort virtual preparation & integration sessions and pre/post-retreat team prep meetings and debriefs
Model ethical boundaries, humility, and professional presence
Qualifications & Experience
Training and experience in embodied, somatic, tantric, or pleasure-based modalities
Strong grounding in consent education and trauma awareness
Experience facilitating group experiences in sex-positive, body-positive, and queer spaces
Ability to work collaboratively and responsibly within a facilitation team
Alignment with Qasa’s ethics, inclusivity, and facilitation standards
Adventure Retreat Facilitator
Role Overview
Out & Wild Adventure Retreat Facilitators support nature-based and adventure-oriented retreat experiences that emphasize connection, resilience, and personal growth. Facilitators collaborate with guides and Qasa staff to ensure physical safety, emotional support, and inclusive group dynamics throughout outdoor activities.
Key Responsibilities
Support or lead nature-based and adventure programming
Hold emotionally supportive, participant-centered space during physically engaging activities
Collaborate with external guides and internal teams for logistical alignment and to ensure safety and flow
Monitor group dynamics and individual wellbeing
Uphold Qasa’s values of consent, inclusion, and respect for nature
Participate in team planning meetings and debriefs
Qualifications & Experience (High-Level)
Experience facilitating or supporting outdoor, adventure, or nature-based group experiences
First Aid / CPR (wilderness-level preferred) and other adventure activity certifications
Comfort working with diverse bodies, abilities, and comfort levels
Queer-affirming, trauma-aware orientation
Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and grounded in dynamic environments
