About Us Pink Elephant VC is a venture capital fund dedicated to innovations in mental health. We support startups transforming psychological wellbeing and building technologies that improve millions of lives. We are looking for an experienced Freelance UI/UX Designer to collaborate with us on a project basis to build, upgrade, and optimize the interfaces of our digital products.

The Role We need a creative partner with strong systems thinking who can translate complex ideas into clean, empathetic, and intuitive interfaces. You will work remotely, collaborating closely with our product managers and developers to turn concepts into user-friendly reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UI Design: Create visually compelling interfaces for web platforms and mobile applications (high fidelity, pixel-perfect execution).
  • UX Prototyping: Develop User Flows, Wireframes, and interactive prototypes to test hypotheses and validate flows.
  • Design Systems: Build and maintain UI kits and design systems to ensure product consistency (Atomic Design principles).
  • Optimization: Conduct UX audits of existing solutions and propose improvements to enhance conversion rates and user usability.
  • Developer Handoff: Prepare designs for development, create clear specifications, and provide design QA during implementation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in product or agency design.
  • Tools: Advanced mastery of Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Interactive Prototypes)
  • UX Skills: Strong understanding of User-Centered Design principles, ability to work with research data and analytics.
  • Empathy: Ability to design interfaces that evoke trust and calmness (critical for the Mental Health space).
  • Tech Awareness: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS principles and web development constraints (you understand how your designs translate to code).
  • Soft Skills: Ability to articulate design decisions, manage your own time, and deliver on deadlines without micromanagement.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio featuring real case studies is required (we want to see your process and problem-solving, not just final visuals).

We Offer:

  • Remote/Flexible: Work from anywhere on a schedule that fits project deadlines.
  • Impact: Contribute to meaningful projects in the Mental Health tech space.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate or fixed project fee (based on experience).

Long-term Potential: Possibility for ongoing retainer work or future projects upon successful completion of initial tasks.
